e-VU Professional, Document Management Software
e-VU Professional is the latest release of the award winning software. It has been completely re-written to utilise newer technologies making this the fastest, feature rich version of the product to date. But, the ethos behind the original product has not been lost, as a software product it is still aimed squarely at the needs of sole traders, small businesses and medium sized departments.
e-VU Professional is still based around core EDMS functionality (scanning, indexing, archiving and retrieving) but we've added to this a whole host of features that have been requested (along with some that we thought were just great). System Administrators will now find they can model their business and departments requirements much easier with the new Cabinet and Folder design.
The modular configuration of the software can be deployed so that you have the applications you want, and on the machines you choose. We've managed to cram the new features in, but we think we've managed to make this the easiest version of the product to use ever!

The following lists detail the minimum supported configurations when running e-VU Professional
- 1Ghz or higher Pentium compatible CPU
- 512MB of RAM (1GB Recommended)
- 100MB of Hard Disk space for installation of Software
- TWAIN Compliant scanner for document scanning
- SVGA resolution monitor running at 1024 x 768
- Microsoft Windows 2000 + Service Pack 4
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional + Service Pack 2
- Microsoft Windows 2003 Server + Service Pack 1
Due to the varying sizes of scanned images and electronic documents, we cannot specify the necessary hard disk space you will require, however, you can typically store 20,000 black and white A4 (200 dpi) images in 1Gb of hard disc space.
